This Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) Web event focuses on single audit quality. There has been an uptick in federal quality control reviews (QCRs) of single audits, and we expect even more in the future that will focus on single audits of pandemic funding. A panel of practitioners provides their insights on the following:

  • A summary of the most common findings identified in recent QCRs and desk reviews as shared with the GAQC by several federal agencies' Offices of Inspector General (OIGs);

  • Best practices and practical tips on how to avoid such deficiencies; and

  • An overview of the QCR process and what to expect if your engagement is selected.
