Did you know the AICPA Foundation sponsors an annual, all-expenses-paid leadership workshop for ethnic minority college students with an interest in a career in accounting?

The AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop will occur in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 13-15, 2021, and will aim to strengthen students’ professional skills and understanding of the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential.

What to expect

Participants will participate in learning sessions and panel discussions covering a wide array of topics such as developing leadership skills and the CPA exam. They will also have the opportunity to interact with CPA professionals who will share priceless knowledge regarding career opportunities in accounting and the value of networking.

"It was such an amazing experience. I met people from all over the United States that are my friends now. Without the program, I wouldn't have met all these wonderful people. I have learned so much on how to achieve my goal of becoming a CPA through this program.” ~ Program Participant

The AICPA Foundation covers the cost of student attendees’ transportation to/from the workshop location, hotel accommodations, training experience, and meals. Join your peers in this great opportunity to explore the accounting profession.
