AICPA to Testify at IRS Hearing on Proposed Regulations Regarding Centralized Partnership Audit Regime

Washington, D.C. (October 5, 2018) – Michael Greenwald, MPPM, CPA, chair of the American Institute of CPAs’ (AICPA) Partnership Taxation Technical Resource Panel, will testify on Tuesday, October 9, at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) public hearing about the proposed regulations regarding the centralized partnership audit regime (REG-136118-15).

Greenwald will testify about recommendations the AICPA believes should be adopted to improve the process for auditing partnerships that is outlined in the proposed regulations.

The public forum is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the IRS Auditorium at the IRS Headquarters Building, 1111 Constitution Avenue, N.W. in Washington, D.C.
