Women Tax Professionals Share Their Stories
You already know that the AICPA Tax Section is here for your needs, whether it be resources, guidance, practice tools or anything else connected to working as a CPA in tax. But we wanted to go beyond that and visit perspectives on working in the profession as a woman.
For the past 20 years, women have represented about 50% of new CPAs in the accounting profession. Yet today, women account for only 14.3% of executive officer positions in business and industry and 19% of partners in CPA firms nationwide. During the panel, we will discuss the unique triumphs and challenges we've seen and continue to see in our workplaces. We want to gain perspective from women who work hard to balance busy personal lives with rich professional lives.
Join us as we discuss the challenges, successes and changes we’ve seen and continue to see in our workplaces. I know you’ll appreciate hearing the perspectives of women like you, who are balancing their careers with the demands of their personal lives and succeeding at both.
