GASB Pensions: Are You Ready for June 30, 2015 Audit Implementation?

The GAQC's goal in offering this event is to prepare auditors for the effect of the GASB pension standards on governmental employer financial statement audits.

About the Event

Over the last few years, the GAQC has been hammering home the importance of the GASB pension standards and related implementation issues. While pension plans have already implemented the standards, the focus now changes to the participating governmental employers. This presentation covers:

  • The most challenging aspects of the new GASB standards for auditors;
  • Related practice issues and tips for addressing them; and
  • A reminder about the various forms of guidance issued by both the GASB and the AICPA on this topic area.
