AICPA Standing Ovation nominees represent the most promising leaders in the Forensic & Valuation accounting industry. Natasha Novikov was nominated for this prestigious recognition in 2015. Natasha describes her experience below:
"The AICPA’s Standing Ovation Nomination is the highest recognition a young credential holder can achieve in the specialty areas. The nomination awards overall excellence in the industry resulting in the impact on the profession and not just exemplary volunteer service as with other awards.
As a recipient of the inaugural Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Standing Ovation in 2015, I attended the annual FVS conference in Las Vegas for the first time as a NextGen participant. At the conference I networked with AICPA FVS employees and other professionals from the industry. Since the conference, I became more involved with the FVS section by participating in CFF Champion conference calls and planning in the upcoming NextGen program. I will be a co-presenter at the 2016 FVS Conference and will serve as an Ambassador to the NextGen program.
I would highly recommend that young forensic and valuation accountants strive for the prestigious recognition of the AICPA’s Standing Ovation program. Being a recipient provides an opportunity to highlight the rising stars and recognize emerging leaders in the profession. Since then, additional doors have opened for me with new leadership opportunities for further development beyond the FVS section. A short bio will be featured in the article “Cool CPA Jobs” in the AICPA’s annual 2016 magazine “Start Here” scheduled to be released in September 2016"
If you know someone who is an ABV or CFF Credential holder, under the age of 40, and has achieved so much within the forensic & valuation industry, show them your appreciation by nominating them for the Standing Ovation Nomination.
