Stone, Randall A. – Austin, TX

Under the automatic disciplinary provisions of the Institute’s bylaws, Mr. Stone’s AICPA membership was suspended for three years, effective July 7, 2014, in connection with the disciplinary action taken by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Specifically, the PCAOB barred Mr. Stone from being an associated person of a registered public accounting firm with the right to file a petition for Board consent to associate with a registered public accounting firm after three years from the date of the Order. This decision was based on the PCAOB’s findings that Mr. Stone violated PCAOB rules and auditing standards, in connection with (1) the audit of the consolidated financial statements of a “Corporation” for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007, and (2) the consent to incorporate by reference the fiscal year 2007 audit report in a Form S-8 Registration Statement filed by the “Corporation” with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in June 2008.
