Jack Martin
Jack is a Partner and the National Director of Forensic Data Analytics at KPMG in Canada. Jack has also performed extensive work in other forensic and audit areas such as litigation support, investigations, and continuous monitoring and continuous auditing. Jack has designed complex procedures that were used as expert testimony for litigation support, as well as for fraud investigation and dispute services engagements. Jack is proficient at using a wide variety of analytics, data mining, statistical and visualization tools. Jack is a part-time lecturer at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, where he teaches Auditing and IT Auditing courses in the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs.
Emily Chee
Emily is currently a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Risk Consulting, Forensic Advisory practice. Having started her career in IT Audit and Advisory, her experience includes: performing data analytics, database design, identifying IT application controls, testing of general IT controls and application controls, assessing risk impact, delivering related documentation, and providing recommendations for improvement areas. She also has experience auditing and dealing with complex business and IT environments. Having a background in accounting and management information systems, Emily has had the opportunity to work with various systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics AX, PeopleSoft, and MediTech) and a variety of operating systems (Windows, Unix). In addition, Emily has experience with ACL, IDEA, Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL. Prior to joining KPMG, Emily held junior positions in assisting in the day-to-day business operations for financial institutions, insurance, retail, and distribution industries.
