Mark is a seasoned practitioner in the Tax Digital Consulting service line. Mark’s primary focus throughout his career has been developing tax processes, implementing tax technology solutions, and assisting large organizations in meeting their compliance and financial reporting needs. Mark is part of a national Tax Digital Consulting team that assists companies with enhancing the performance of a tax function by identifying areas of improvement for people, processes, technology, and data. Mark’s primary focus has been on data management strategies, data transformation, and data visualization. Mark has assisted companies with analyzing sets of unstructured data and applying leading business intelligence applications to help minimize risk, identify opportunities, and optimize business strategies.

Chris Jarski, CPA, CGMA, MBA is a managing director in Tax Function Optimization at Grant Thornton LLP, providing services in data management, analytics and visualization. He is also the national markets lead for the Tax Innovation practice. Chris’s pragmatic approach to using technology ensures that tax leadership is equipped to drive achievement of key business initiatives. He was previously a partner in an advisory practice serving Fortune 500 clients and a senior manager in Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting Best Practices group.
