Women in the Profession

Profiles of Women in the Profession

The CPA profession is loaded with talented women, each of whom has their own career path and story to share. No two women are the same, but each can teach us a lot about the meaning of success, leadership, and leaving a legacy. Here we highlight just a few of these outstanding women:

  • Patricia Cochran, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, Vision Service Plan, Rancho Cordova, CA
  • Kim Griffin Hunter, CPA, Partner, Deloitte & Touche, and Past President, National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)
  • Carol Wysor Kirwan, CPA, Eden, MD, Director of Technical Services & Regulatory Affairs, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants
  • Bea L. Nahon, CPA, Sole Practitioner, Bellevue, WA, and Past President, Washington Society of CPAs

You can view more profiles of outstanding men and women CPAs at the new "Start Here, Go Places." site.
