The end frame of the videos will always display the AICPA logo along with its firm membership Section name, Private Companies Practice Section. Our ads will run on Bloomberg, Fox Business and CNBC. These networks rated very highly for small business owner viewership. We will secure media in September and will update the FAQs with information about what time of day the ads will run.
You can run the videos on your organization’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. We will provide pre-written social media posts to go along with the videos. You can also choose to run a paid Facebook campaign on your page to further boost a post’s reach. This is a cost-effective way to get the videos seen by more of your fans and get more shares and likes. Check out the video at the bottom of the #CPApowered page for a quick tutorial.
Just like TV, you are placing video ads but on YouTube. Unlike TV, you only pay when someone chooses to watch the entire ad. The videos we place on your behalf will be targeted geographically to your market and contextually to an audience whose search of content matches that of a small business owner.
If between 2-9 firms want to participate together, the buy will consist of skippable pre-roll ads (ads that play before you can view the content you searched for) on YouTube. The ad is skippable after 5 seconds – you only pay when someone watches the full 30-second video. Each buy is contextually targeted to small business owner content interests and geo-targeted to the specific area (one market) in which the firms are located.
The #CPApowered campaign will launch on both Facebook and Twitter September-November. The national cable TV buy on Bloomberg, CNBC and Fox Business will air during the month of October.
You may begin running the videos on your social channels or website on September 15, which is the official launch date of the campaign.
Although the collaborative paid media program with the AICPA, CPA, state CPA societies and firms will conclude in November, you may continue to run the videos on your website and social media channels until April 30, 2018.
If you would like to use the videos in a paid media program after November 30, 2017, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org. Because there are talent fee implications, it is important that the AICPA knows where the videos are being placed.
We are contractually obligated to pay fees to the talent in the videos. The fees we are charging you to run on TV in your market will cover those talent fees. The AICPA has covered all talent fees to run on your own website, Facebook and Twitter accounts.
