Janice M. Maiman is Executive Vice President of Communications, Public Relations and Brand for the American Institute of CPAs. As the lead communications professional, she oversees integrated communications strategies and programs including: brand management; advertising; executive and member communications; media relations; multimedia and social media functions; user experience of digital properties such as AICPA.org and CGMA.org; creative services; magazines/newsletters and the AICPA's financial literacy program. In addition, she oversees the professional pipeline efforts and academic relations.
Under Maiman’s leadership, the Communications Team has received hundreds of awards. Honors include: Best Communications Team 2009 and 2011 from the American Business Awards; two Summit Awards from the American Society of Association Executives; two Platinum Spotlight Award and Top 100 Communications Materials honors from the Leagues of American Communications Professionals; a PR News Platinum PR Award; an ASAE Gold Circle Award; Silver and Bronze Telly Awards; a Gold Quill from the International Association of Business Communicators; and numerous Hermes and MarCom Platinum Awards. Maiman has been honored with induction into PR News Hall of Fame and with inclusion in PR News' Top Women in PR and Accounting Today's Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting list.
