While most tax practitioners would not disagree, they may provide differing descriptions of what they believe constitutes document management. - See more at: http://edit.aicpa.org/InterestAreas/Tax/Resources/practicemanagement/Pages/TaxPowerHour.aspx#sthash.f6QO4JdN.dpuf
There are so many types of IRS penalties that may be imposed on taxpayers. The failure-to-file, failure-to-pay, failure-to-deposit, estimated tax penalty, and the accuracy-related penalty are some common ones, but the list goes on. In this webcast, learn about the IRS penalty process from assessment to abatement. We will review reasonable cause criteria (including relevant court cases and Internal Revenue Manual guidelines), the first-time penalty abatement administrative waiver, and other relief provisions. We will address how to effectively request and receive abatement and how and when to use the IRS appeals process to get a more favorable outcome.

Join us as we explore ways to provide excellent representation to clients with IRS penalty issues. Industry experts Larry Wolfe, CPA and Stan Green, CPA will share their tips and best practices for requesting and receiving abatement for clients - often saving clients hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on penalties.
