American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Chairman Bill Balhoff, CPA, CGMA, CFF was a guest speaker at the 106th annual meeting of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) on October 28.
Balhoff told the gathering, “Every day, CPAs wrestle with numerous technical, professional, or practice-related issues while honoring the core values that serve our profession and the public so well. Whether in public practice, business, or in government, we must always challenge ourselves to find the best solutions. Together, the AICPA and NASBA, along with state boards of accountancy, state CPA societies, accounting firms, and other professional organizations, have embraced opportunities to help CPAs advance the profession while protecting the public interest.”
