The Communications & Media Channels Team advances the reputation and goals of the CPA profession and the AICPA, and assists in enhancing CPAs’ competency, by shaping, aligning, creating and communicating positions, programs and professional information.

Communications, Advertising & Brand Management
Communications, Advertising & Brand Management protects and helps to enhance the reputation and image of the CPA profession and the AICPA; ensures consistency of brand positioning throughout the AICPA and in all initiatives; manages the Institute’s financial literacy efforts through 360 Degrees of Financial Literacy and Feed the Pig; manages the strategic and tactical communication plans to various audiences, including staff, state CPA societies and members; manages AICPA.org and associated Web sites; and manages the AICPA’s social media strategy.
Creative Services combines the diverse talents of Graphic Design and Multimedia into a one-stop shop for strategic design, conceptual development and the production of print, video and other multimedia and Web products.
Magazines & Newsletters
Magazines & Newsletters provides timely news, insightful analysis and practical guidance to CPAs to enhance their skills and assist them in serving their clients better through publications such as Journal of Accountancy, The Tax Adviser and Insider e-newsletters. Magazines & Newsletters also consists of the advertising sales team which sells advertising for many of the Institute’s revenue-generating publications, magazines and newsletters.
Media Relations advances and promotes the AICPA’s mission, goals, viewpoints and programs to the press/media.
