5.3 General Provisions Governing Meetings

    .01    The following general provisions shall govern quorum and parliamentary procedure.

            5.3.1  Meetings—Quorum

            Five hundred members of the Institute shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of any business duly presented at any meeting of the Institute. Thirty members of Council shall constitute a quorum of the Council at any duly called meeting of the Council. A majority of the members of the Institute's Board of Directors shall constitute a quorum of the board.

            5.3.2  Meetings—Rules of Parliamentary Procedure Applicable

            The rules of parliamentary procedure contained in Robert's Rules of Order Revised shall govern all meetings of the Institute and of the Council.
