Provide Help to Japan through AICPA’s CPAs in Support of America Fund
UPDATE: In early November, the AICPA sent the contributions collected from the profession to the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. JICPA responded with a thank you letter.
CPAs have an extraordinary commitment to the public interest. One way the profession demonstrates this commitment is through CPAs’ rapid response to offer assistance in times of need. If you would like to contribute to relief efforts for Japan, consider the AICPA’s CPAs in Support of America Fund, a 501(c)(3) entity. Contributions will be accepted through May 15, 2011 (donations may be tax deductible). The money collected will be donated on behalf of the profession.
- To pay by credit card, call 877.CPA.4ALL during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., ET).
