Educational Webcast

The AICPA has developed an educational web cast on its Independence Rule Modernization project. The thirty-minute webcast, which is viewable in its entirety or by subject, provides background information about the Institute's independence rule modernization effort and highlights newly adopted AICPA rules. In addition, on December 4, approximately 84 members, state CPA and state board representatives participated in a live, interactive web conference. During that conference, a panel consisting of representatives from the AICPA and NASBA addressed participants' questions about the new AICPA rules and how modernization and harmonization of the profession's rules would benefit the profession.
