AICPA Offers Guidance on Business Opportunities Abroad for CPAs

New Conferences on China and Brazil Highlight Market Strategies and Missteps to Avoid
    Published May 23, 2013

China and Brazil represent potent opportunities for CPAs and financial professionals interested in doing business abroad, yet each country offers unique challenges that can serve as barriers to entry. To help firms and their clients navigate legal, cultural and country-specific accounting issues, the American Institute of CPAs is hosting a pair of high-level conferences devoted to best practices for conducting business in each market.

Both events are designed to give attendees strategic insight and practical advice regarding the launch or expansion of businesses in the two respective countries, with an emphasis on real-world case studies.  The conferences are geared to mid-to-senior level executives in public accounting, business and industry, and also to attorneys, consultants and financial professionals.
