AICPA Launches Mobile Version of Journal of Accountancy Website
Published December 20, 2012
NEW YORK (December 20, 2012) – To better serve their membership and provide news about the accounting profession to busy professionals on the go, the American Institute of CPAs has launched a mobile version of their award winning website Journal of Accountancy. When a reader visits journalofaccountancy.com from their iPhone, Android or Windows phone, the site seamlessly displays the mobile version of the website.
Traffic from mobile devices to the website has doubled over the past year as smartphone adoption for internet browsing increases. Currently almost 10% of the Journal of Accountancy’s web traffic comes from smartphones and tablets.
Readers have the ability to increase font size and share content, as well as sign up for News Alerts – so they don’t miss out on breaking news during the tax season.
Earlier this year, the AICPA debuted a Journal of Accountancy news app for iPads, available for free online.
