Melissa Labant in NY Times -Tax Changes From Health Care Law 


Melissa Labant, an AICPA tax manager,  said in a New York Times article that tax changes to fund health insurance coverage for more Americans “don’t get a lot of attention” because “they’re not applicable until 2013.”  She said a tax credit to encourage small business employers to provide health insurance benefits is “so confusing and time-consuming that a lot of C.P.A.’s and clients think the cost of calculation exceeds the potential benefits.” Read the full article.
