AICPA Membership Dues

Your annual membership dues are based on your role, industry and work status. Please see below for a list of membership dues by category. An enrollment fee of $65 applies for new members.

Your AICPA membership includes a subscription to the Journal of Accountancy. Non-members may subscribe to this award-winning magazine for $75 a year.

Invoice Timing

Invoices to renew your AICPA membership and specialized interest sections, as well as to renew any credentials and designations that you hold, are sent in June to cover the upcoming fiscal year (August 1 - July 31). Payment is due on or before July 31.

Payment methods

For your convenience, you may pay your dues online, through the Member Service Center or by mail. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or Discover Card (both credit and debit are accepted).

Available for Regular Members who have reached full retirement age as determined by the Social Security Administration and, if employed as a business professional, work less than an average of 20 hours per week, calculated on an annual basis.

The TLW category is available to members in Regular and Associate Membership categories who are currently not working due to one of the following circumstances (status to be confirmed annually):
  • Unemployment
  • Medical leave (health or disability prevents gainful employment)
  • Family leave (left the workforce to care for family members full time)
  • Education leave (enrolled full time in a formal education program)
