Who we are, What we do, Volunteer opportunities

The AICPA and its predecessors have been serving members and the public since 1887. As the national, professional organization for CPAs, our mission is to provide members with the resources, information and leadership to provide services that benefit the public, employers and clients. To fulfill its mission the AICPA works with state CPA organizations and focuses on advocacy; certification and licensing; communications; recruitment and education; and standards and performance.
