    : July 10, 2013, 1-2 p.m. ET (rebroadcast August 8, 2013)
    Speaker:  Mary Kay Foss, CPA

This webcast covered one of the most important and prevalent retirement and estate planning wealth vehicles -  individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and the naming of beneficiaries of an IRA and other retirement accounts.  Some of the issues covered in the webcast were:

    • When is it a good idea to name a trust as an IRA beneficiary?
    • What are the advantages and disadvantages of naming a spouse, an adult child, or a grandchild?

In addition, practitioners attending the webcast learned the importance of naming contingent beneficiaries.  After attending this webcast, practitioners are better equipped to advise clients with their IRA beneficiary designations.

Tax section members and PFP section members (inclusive of PFS credential holders) may attend this seminar for free without receiving CPE credit.
