PCPS Small Firm Networking Groups

The PCPS Small Firm Networking Groups are designed for sole practitioners and small firms with up to ten CPAs. The groups meet twice per year and plan their own agendas for each meeting. The groups strive for open discussion centered on solving real problems faced by group members in their practices. We currently have three small firm networking groups. The groups are named according to the year in which they were formed. Due to an overwhelming interest in the groups, some groups will cap their rosters for a certain period of time.

How to Join a Group:

The only requirement to register for a meeting is your firm must be a PCPS member firm. Networking group members receive information about upcoming meeting locations and agendas via email. In order to be kept in the loop, send an email to mapsmall@aicpa.org requesting your name to be added to our email distribution list.

Next Meeting Dates:

2002 Group
May 2-4, 2012
San Antonio, TX

2005 Group
May 20-22, 2012
Naples, FL

2007 Group
May 31-June 1, 2012
Jackson Hole, WY

Note: Every other year, the three small firm groups meet jointly. This joint meeting provides members with a venue for:

  • expanding on networking opportunities through joint general and roundtable sessions;
  • enjoy an extended agenda (from 12 hours to 18 hours);
  • and spending half of the meeting in sessions with only members from their own group.

The last joint small firm group meeting was held November 9-11, 2011 in San Diego. The next joint meeting is slated for fall 2013.
