PCPS Community

We encourage PCPS members to utilize and participate in strong peer communities.

PCPS Networking Groups
Consider joining a practice management networking group, roughly segmented by the number of CPAs in the firm, that allow members to connect on a regular basis. There is also a young leaders and business owners networking group, a women’s networking group and a networking group for human resource professionals or those with human resource responsibilities in the firm.
Join the PCPS group on LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on what’s happening within PCPS and use this as a forum for your questions and interactions with peers. Also, check out the AICPA's Women in the Profession, Emerging Partner Training Forum and Trusted Client Adviser Alumni groups.

You can join PCPS conversation with PCPS staff and members using the hashtag #AICPApcps or follow @AICPA.

Follow AICPA on Pinterest and check out the ‘Power Up Your Firm’ board designated specifically for PCPS resources and events.

PCPS Executive Committee
This volunteer committee sets the direction for PCPS and serves as a conduit between PCPS staff and current practitioners on professional and technical issues. The next meeting will be held on September 22-23, 2016 in Boston, MA and includes a PCPS Meet & Greet Reception on September 21 for all local Boston member firms. Contact any member of the committee or Lisa Simpson, the committee’s staff liaison, and voice your PCPS related suggestions or questions.

PCPS Technical Issues Committee (TIC)
TIC monitors technical developments that could significantly affect private companies and the firms that serve them. When standards are written, TIC submits informed comments and recommendations in support of firms. If you have questions, local firm advocacy issues or suggestions for TIC, contact Michael Westervelt, TIC Chair, or Linda Volkert, TIC staff liaison.
