The CITP Exam Sponsorship program is available for the mandatory summer 2012 CITP exam. These awards are intended to assist CPAs who have an interest in information management and information technology to complete the examination requirement and ultimately obtain the CITP credential.
The sponsorship is only available to those that have not received a sponsorship payment in the past. The payment will reimburse candidates for a portion of the expenses they have incurred after they complete the CITP exam. The next CITP Exam period is: July 25th - August 31st.
For IT Section members, this sponsorship can reduce the net cost for preparing for and taking the CITP exam!

If you are not an Information Technology Section member: You must be a section member to qualify for the Sponsorship. Join online.
$200 can get you all of the Information Technology Section benefits and potentially qualify you for a $300 sponsorship! As a section member, your exam review guide and exam are discounted from the AICPA member price.

How does it work?

- Meet the sponsorship requirements by making the appropriate purchases
- Apply for the sponsorship
- Receive an approval email
- Take the CITP Exam (passing the exam is not required to qualify)
- After the exam period is over, receive a Visa debit card containing your sponsorship amount

Sponsorship applications should be emailed or mailed (postmarked) no later than the day the applicant's exam window begins. Email completed applications to ITsharedaccount@aicpa.org.
