AICPA’s Specialized Communities and Firm Practice Management (SCMFPM) recently announced the AICPA State Society Collaboration Initiative at the Interchange Conference. The goal with the outreach initiative is to connect AICPA members to state society members and form a community of peers with the similar interest area at the local level. SCMFPM includes disciplines in FVS, PFP, IMTA, and PCPS.
Within the Specialized Communities and Firm Practice Management (SCFPM) team at the AICPA, the IMTA Interest Area focuses on providing dedicated resources for our members interested in IT. The IMTA team provides exclusive targeted tools and resources as well as provides firms and businesses with a strong collective voice within the profession. Our goal is to make practicing CPAs successful through education and advocacy and allow this opportunity to form at the local level by partnering with state societies.
