The ABV Credential Experience Program has been created as a means to assist ABV candidates receive valuation experience relevant toward obtaining the ABV credential. The goal of the ABV Credential Experience Program is to provide a way for AICPA members to learn about the business valuation profession, develop their professional skills and better serve their clients through the help of other more experienced and accomplished valuation professionals. By participating in this program, AICPA members will be able to gain the needed experience to become credentialed as an ABV by working with an organization willing to provide such experience.

NOTE: Submission of a candidate’s profile form is not a guarantee he/she will be selected as a participant by any firm. Any decision to select a candidate is solely that of a firm and whether any agreement reached is up to the candidate and the sponsoring firm. The AICPA has no control over whether a participant may be selected and shall have no responsibility or liability with regard to the selection and/or agreement between the candidate and the firm. Firms may select candidates based on the firm’s workload, geographical location, and staffing needs and other factors the firm may consider relevant. There may be a significant time lag between the date on which a candidate submits the resume and the date the candidate is selected from the pool by any firm. Further, if the candidate and the firm reach an agreement, the AICPA shall have no liability or responsibility with regard to the engagement that follows from that agreement.
