Crace, Jason L. – Fishers, IN 

    As a result of a decision by a hearing panel of the Joint Trial Board, Mr. Crace was admonished by the AICPA, effective November 20, 2013. Mr. Crace was also directed to successfully complete fifteen hours of continuing education within nine months of the effective date of the decision. Mr. Crace was found guilty of violating AICPA Code of Professional Conduct Rule 502 – Advertising and Other Forms of Solicitation in that he failed to observe the requirements of Interpretation 502-2 False, Misleading, or Deceptive Acts in Advertising or Solicitation. Specifically, Mr. Crace sought to obtain clients by forms of solicitation that were misleading, deceptive, and over-reaching by sending letters to former clients that contained misleading statements that would likely cause a reasonable person to misunderstand or be deceived.
