Budget Buzz: Be Smart About Saving
To provide basics of financial literacy to 4th grade students and their teachers, the AICPA has teamed with Weekly Reader to create a free educational program entitled Budget Buzz: Be Smart About Saving. The program materials include a poster and two hands-on activities designed to help students understand financial concepts in a fun, interactive way. Below are copies of the materials for use in the classroom or at home:

  • Poster: shows how Carlos is able to buy a skateboard by planning, earning, and saving.

  • Activities: includes Message to Educators, Budget Sheet, "I Want That" activity, and "It's Your Lemonade Stand" activity.
