The Women’s Initiative Executive Committee (WIEC) has developed several formal and informal resources to help CPA firms and companies develop women’s initiatives programs to attract and retain talent.

  • AICPA Women's Global Leadership Summit
    Mark your calendars now! You don't want to miss the 6th Annual AICPA Women's Global Leadership Summit. It will be held on November 8-10, 2017 in Chicago, IL. This summit is designed to empower professional women and build additional skills in key areas such as business development, mentoring, networking, broad-based business skills and client service.   • AICPA Women to Watch Awards
    Be inspired by the success stories of other dynamic female CPAs. The AICPA Women to Watch Awards create a platform to discuss and promote the challenges, accomplishments and opportunities for women in the profession.

  • AICPA Online Mentoring Program (New!)
    The newest tool available to AICPA members, the AICPA Online Mentoring Program allows participants to seek a mentor outside of their organization, who can help level the playing field for women, minorities, and young professionals.   • Organizational Strategies Toolkit: The Development of a Women's Initiative Program
    This toolkit serves as a stand-alone guide for accounting firms to develop and implement strategies that facilitate the development and retention of female talent. It includes a customizable slideshow to help you present the business case, a sample survey to diagnose the specific issues your firm is facing, an action plan template and a template steering committee charter to help you jump start your firm’s own Women’s Leadership Initiative.

  • Pilot Program
    WIEC is establishing a pilot program with a few firms to help them apply and share existing best practices, share their progress, successes and lessons learned with the profession in an effort to promote the success of women, inspire other firms and create a ripple effect in our profession.
