AICPA Urges Congress to Make S Corporation Changes

In oral testimony before the House Small Business Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform and Oversight at a hearing held June 27, 2006, the AICPA tells Congress, among other things,   that fiscal years should be more widely permitted, that the treatment of active S corp owners as employees should not be changed, and that the LIFO recapture provisions should be repealed.
