    Finance & Accounting

    The Finance & Accounting team is committed to supporting the organization by providing excellent customer service and responding to our customers’ needs. 

    We not only provide ongoing financial and accounting support to the organization, but we are looked upon to provide thought leadership in a wide variety of special projects and initiatives across the organization.  As a member of our team, you will have an opportunity to learn the inner-workings of the AICPA’s operations.

    Our team embraces change by consistently looks for ways to improve processes and procedures.  We also encourage our staff to be actively engaged in volunteer activities and support the AICPA’s culture initiatives.

    Member Services & Operations

    The Member Service team serves to support the needs of members and customers along with Institute-wide business initiatives. Member Service is responsible for more than 700K member inquiries and transactions annually and represents the business area with the most direct interactions with members of the AICPA.

    Our team consists of staff members interacting directly with our members and customers as well as personnel responsible for quality monitoring, staff knowledge, documentation, surveying our customers, process re-engineering and participation in developing and administering industry best practices.

    To deliver an outstanding service experience, our staff performance bar is set high. Our employees continuously challenge themselves to expand their knowledge and skills. Our organization supports this effort by providing comprehensive training, generous performance feedback and ongoing support. Through our established rewards and recognition program, we continuously reward outstanding performance and recognize a job well done. Many staff members begin their career with the AICPA in the Member Service department and are promoted within the department or throughout the Institute. Team members often serve on intra and interdepartmental special project teams. 

    We are feedback driven to continuously increase internal and external satisfaction through customer surveys as well as bi-annual departmental employee surveys.

    Whether through phone orders or inquiries, email or online, Member Service’s goal is to have members experience the highest quality of service available. Members and customers consistently rate our performance at a high level of satisfaction. Every team member is an active participant in ensuring our success.

    Students, Academia & Membership

    Students, Academics & Membership is comprised of the Academic and Career Development and Member Value teams.  The mission of the Academic and Career Development (ACD) Team is to empower talented individuals to become CPAs.  ACD passionately serves as a steward of the profession working aggressively to educate and inspire future leadership, showcase the value and sustainability of the CPA credential, and engage and encourage talent to become CPAs.  StartHereGoPlaces.com is an example of our work.

    The Member Value Team is responsible for recruiting and retaining AICPA members by marketing the value of membership effectively to members and prospects, and guiding the organization in offering the best possible membership experience.  We also lead recruiting efforts for our many specialized communities, and offer specialized content and benefits to young CPAs.

    Information Technology
