  Mentoring for You

Why you need a mentor and how to get started

Mentoring Guidelines
A mentor or coach can help you navigate through corporate culture as well as the path to a successful career. That’s why the AICPA Work/Life and Women's Initiatives Executive Committee created Mentoring Guidelines that you can use to enhance your career development.  The Guide provides tools for firms to start a mentoring program, but also contains information on finding a mentor and becoming one yourself.  It also outlines the roles and responsibility of both the Mentor and the Protégé.
To obtain a brochure copy of the Mentoring Guidelines, please email educat@aicpa.org or click here to download the PDF version.

State Society Mentoring Programs
Some state CPA societies have mentoring programs that can match you up with a CPA mentor in your state. Check to see if your state society has one that you can get involved in.
