Misbehaving IRS employees still receive bonuses, TIGTA reports
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) released a report concluding that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service’s awards program, which awards cash and compensatory time off to a large number of IRS employees, did not consider employee misconduct, including tax compliance issues, in making these awards.

China's smallest businesses get tax breaks
The State Administration of Taxation announced that 85% of China's smallest businesses will be eligible for lower taxes after the Finance Ministry extended tax breaks on April 8. China's tax agency also issued simplified procedures for these businesses to use when claiming the tax breaks.
