IRS Commissioner Douglas H. Shulman to Address AICPA National Tax Conference

    Top IRS officials – including the IRS Commissioner, three IRS operating division heads, the head of the IRS Return Preparer Office, and the IRS Taxpayer Advocate – will offer insights about preparations for the 2013 tax filing season, examinations involving electronic records, correspondence examinations, worker classification initiatives, foreign filing requirements, priorities of the Return Preparer Office and IRS regulatory projects at the American Institute of CPAs’ premier tax conference. 

     

    Nongovernment speakers will discuss the post-election outlook for Congressional action during the lame duck session, health care, estate taxes, tax reform and other issues related to the fiscal cliff.
