Chicago (June 8, 2011) – Today, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants announced that it will co-locate its Practitioners Symposium/TECH+ conferences with the Association for Accounting Marketing’s Annual Marketing Summit. The integrated conference will take place June 11-13, 2012, in Las Vegas.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to bring the marketing conference and its professionals closer to the CPA profession by allowing CPA firm partners, technical staff and marketing professionals to attend both conferences simultaneously,” stated Jim Metzler, AICPA vice president, small firm interests. “This will be a must attend event for CPA firms of all sizes.”
The co-location of the two conferences allows CPA firms to experience hands-on the four key areas of practice management under one roof – human capital/staffing, leadership, marketing and technology. This is the first time they will have the opportunity to address all of these strategies and firm issues in real-time, among their colleagues and the profession’s experts. The AAM summit provides three levels of marketing guidance for the novice, intermediate and experienced marketer, assisting all firm members as they seek to build their practices.
“We are excited to co-locate the 2012 Association of Accounting Marketing conference with the AICPA Practitioners Symposium/TECH+ Conference,” stated Marc Busny, president-elect of AAM and managing director & chief marketing officer of CBIZ Tofias & Mayer Hoffman McCann PC. “We believe that our members will learn best practices from the cross section of courses offered to help their respective firms prosper and grow in the years to come.”
The AICPA Practitioners Symposium and TECH+ Conference is a forum for public practitioners, senior level partners, firm administrators, CFOs, controllers, CIOs, emerging leaders and IT technical staff to learn about the impact of the changing economy and the challenges businesses will face in the future.
The AAM Summit is designed to help attendees, which includes marketing and business professionals and marketing partners, understand and drive market potential, highlight trends of the accounting trade, showcase best practices for prospecting, and provide insights on brand strategies and business development.
