Stacey joined ACM in 2003 and currently serves as President and Managing Partner.  Previously she served as the Partner in Charge of the Assurance Practice.  Before coming to ACM, Stacey was an assurance partner in BDO USA, LLP's (BDO) Dallas office.  She started her career with Price Waterhouse in 1991.  Stacey's clients are primarily focused in the distribution, real estate, insurance and high-tech industries.  Her experience in the middle market arena includes public and private companies, initial public offerings, private placements, buy/sell side due diligence and advisory services for private companies, fraud investigations, debt and equity offerings and cost recovery investigations on construction projects.  Stacey champions ACM's PE (private equity group) and also participates in the RE/CON group (real estate and construction) as well as the firm's employee benefit plan practice.  Stacey previously managed BDO Dallas' employee benefit plan practice including more than 30 defined contribution plans and 11-Ks per year.

Stacey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA PCPS Executive Committee, Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, Denver Chamber of Commerce, and Commercial Real Estate Women.  She is a charter member in the Women's Leadership Foundation and a past member in the Women's Finance Exchange.  She serves on the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Women's Bean Project (2011 to present) and was in the Leadership Denver Class of 2010 and Impact Denver Class of 2009.  She received a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

She has served as a national CPE (Continuing Professional Education) instructor for BDO, has taught courses at the Colorado Society of CPAs and teaches many of the CPE courses in our office.  Stacey has been published in the Practical Accountant and Colorado Real Estate Journal.  Stacey was recognized as a 2014 Leader of Note by the Colorado Society of CPAs and a 2014 Outstanding Women in Business Finalist by the Denver Business Journal.  Stacey is a soccer, softball and baseball mom to her three children and is passionate about women's and children's issues. In her downtime, she enjoys skiing and surfing.
