Amber K. Goering, CPA, CGMA

Amber has 15 years of experience in tax and accounting. She began her career in tax with Grant Thornton LLP and proceeded to gain industry experience as a Financial Analyst with Koch Industries in Wichita. Subsequently, she has enjoyed working in public practice, assisting clients with tax planning, preparation and consulting. Her goal is to change the dynamic of the client relationship, providing excellent client service building relationships as well as taking advantage of new technologies available to save clients time and money.

Amber is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and serves on the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), where she serves on the board of directors, legislative executive committee, and political action committee (with service as Chair). She also serves as the President for the Metro Chapter of the KSCPA.

Amber is a graduate of the KSCPA 20 Up To 40 Leadership program and was named 2010 AICPA-KSCPA Emerging Leader "Woman to Watch." She is a member of the Rotary Club of Western Johnson County and serves as the Club Vice President. She is also a graduate of the 2013 Shawnee Chamber of Commerce "Shawnee Tomorrow" Leadership Program and a graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy Class of 2013.

Amber received her BBA in Accounting from Belmont University and holds a permit to practice as a CPA in Kansas.
