Cheryl is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP. She has extensive experience in all areas of operations management including human capital, information technology, finance and marketing. Prior to joining DGC in 2006, Cheryl was a Principal and the Director of Operations at a large regional CPA firm.
As COO and a member of the firm's executive committee, Cheryl works with the managing partner and executive committee on strategy and growth initiatives, delivery of client services, and the management of operations. While her primary focus is managing the business of the firm, Cheryl frequently advises clients in the areas of organizational structure, technology, and financial best practices.
Cheryl has written articles and presented at local and national conferences on firm and security best practices and technology efficiencies. She has also been recognized as one of the area’s “40 Under 40” business leaders and innovators by the Boston Business Journal. Cheryl’s education includes a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Suffolk University.
Cheryl’s professional and civic activities include Board Member and Managing Accounting Practices Committee Chair of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Board Member of the AICPA PCPS Executive Committee, Board Member of the Junior Achievement of Northern New England, Member of the Women's Advisory Board and the Small Business of the Year Committee at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Suffolk University Information Systems and Operations Management Advisory Board, Member of the Stand Against Racism Committee at the YWCA Boston, and Board Member at St. Mary of the Hills School.
