The individuals included on this site are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants who are entitled to use the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. A CPA is granted this designation only after demonstrating experience in personal financial planning services and meeting other accreditation requirements established by the AICPA. Every three years, all CPA/PFS must meet reaccreditation requirements to maintain their right to use the accreditation.

The inclusion of a member's name on this site indicates only that the member has satisfied the CPA/PFS accreditation and reaccreditation requirements. The AICPA neither endorses the member's services nor suggests that the member is holding out to the public as providing financial planning or advisory services.
