North America Top Technology Initiatives for CPA's Survey - 2013

The 2013 North America TTI survey was a joint effort between the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). The survey, conducted from Feb. 12 through March 6 in the U.S. and Feb. 14 through March 5 in Canada, was based on responses from 1,670 AICPA members nationwide and 219 Canadian respondents who are interested in information technology. This year, the survey is structured to dive further into the core concerns and priorities that AICPA members may have regarding information management and technology. The AICPA has created various tools and resources to assist organizations in addressing this year’s top technology initiatives. These tools, available to IMTA Division members and CITP Credential holders, can be found in the 2013 U.S. Top Technology Initiatives Master Toolkit.

2013 U.S. Top Technology Initiatives Master Toolkit (Coming Soon)



	The 2013 U.S. Top Technology Initiatives Master Toolkit includes resources that fit the organizational needs of IMTA Division Members and the educational commitments of CITP Credential Holders. Interactive IT Case Study for Accounting Professionals


	An AICPA interactive case study offered by the Information Management and Technology Assurance Division, called "Interactive IT Case Study for Accounting Professionals”, provides an interactive environment to address top technology concerns that accounting professionals encounter and provide a snapshot of what the professionals need to know. The case study highlights a hypothetical retailer, Endangered Design, a $1 billion business with stores across North and South America. The training user acts as the company’s new CFO and CITP and decides to conduct an internal assessment of its business’s vulnerability to cyber-threats and explore emerging technologies.
