In today's technology-saturated world, just having a technology available won't give your company a competitive advantage. Instead, the competitive advantage will come from how you use the technology. Most organizations put the cart before the horse, focusing too much on which technologies they want to use and not enough on why they want them (e.g., what problem are they trying to solve).
