Jeannette Koger

Jeannette joined the AICPA in 2005 after working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in strategic consulting. Jeannette’s career includes experience working at a Fortune 500 company internationally in internal audit. She earned her MBA at Cornell University with a focus in valuation. Jeannette believes that specialization for CPAs is the next evolutionary step of the profession as the body of knowledge necessary to practice continues to grow. She is dedicated to helping CPAs realize their potential in this area.

Barbara Andrews

Barbara joined the AICPA in July 2007 having previously worked in a civil litigation law firm. The challenge of learning about all aspects of forensic accounting and working with some of the best practitioners in the country has been a rewarding experience.

Eva Simpson

Prior to joining the AICPA in 2008, Eva started her career in public accounting, primarily working in business valuation. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting at East Carolina University. Eva believes that the AICPA’s support behind specialization is a strong indicator of what the CPA profession has in store. The ability to work and interact with the nation’s foremost valuation thought leaders and volunteers is what she appreciates most about working at the AICPA.

Jeff High

Jeff joined the AICPA in 2015, after serving for years in the US and Internationally in the capital markets and investment banking industry, where he managed research and valuation of derivatives and complex financial instruments.  Jeff holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Cape Town and the University of North Carolina in Finance, Economics, and Applied Statistics and a Masters in Financial Economics from the University of North Carolina.  Jeff is grateful to work with the world’s leading experts in valuation and policy and is passionate about delivering greater transparency and cooperation to the financial sector.

Mark Smith

Prior to joining the AICPA in 2014, Mark spent the majority of his career in public accounting with a focus on SEC regulatory compliance, and audit of high-tech and bio-tech companies.  He also worked as a consultant in estate and gift tax planning and wealth management.  Mark has a B.A in English, a Juris Doctor, and obtained his Certified Public Accountant license. 

Paul Wapner

Paul joined the AICPA in 2013 after starting his career in public accounting. His experience includes tax, audit, and business valuation services for a variety of industries. Paul attended North Carolina State University for undergraduate and graduate studies in accounting. He is passionate about increasing the awareness of business valuation as a growing niche service in accounting firms as well as working with valuation experts nationwide to provide members with resources to help them in servicing their clients.


Preston Willcox

Prior to joining the AICPA in 2013, Preston started his career in public accounting working with a broad range of clients in tax, audit, and consulting roles. He takes great pride in working with members on their continued professional growth and helping further the recognition of the importance of specialized credentials in an ever increasingly complex and demanding profession.
