    Gregory J. Anton, CPA, CGMA, Chairman of the AICPA Board of Directors

    • Gregory J. Anton is chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Institute of CPAs for 2011-12.
    • Anton has served the AICPA in many capacities. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the governing Council for seven years. He chaired the Finance Committee in 2008-2009 and the Board Task Force on FASAB Rule 203 Review and has served on the Audit, Compensation and Investments Committees, as well as the Member Advisory Panel and the Expert Panels Oversight Group.
    • Anton is a founding partner of Anton Collins Mitchell LLP in Denver, Colo. His career as a CPA began with BDO USA, LLP where he became an Office Managing Partner in the Assurance Business Line.
      
    Anton Colella, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland


    Anton Colella
    • Anton Colella became chief executive officer of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in October 2006.
    • Previously he was the chief executive of the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) from December 2003 to October 2006, following a period as Acting Chief Executive and Director of Qualifications. He was elected chair of the Global Accounting Alliance in November 2011. Anton joined the University of Glasgow’s Strategic Advisory Board in 2011. He is a Council member of the Confederation of British Industry Scotland (CBI) and Chairman of the Scottish Council of Independent Schools (SCIS). He is also a Trustee of Columba 1400, a social enterprise devoted to releasing the potential of young people who have weathered tough times.
