AICPA Scholarships 



The AICPA and partner organizations are pleased to offer scholarships for students of all levels - from community college to Ph.D. funding - as well as other opportunities for future CPAs.

Undergraduate Scholarships 

AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship
The AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship provides financial awards to undergraduate and graduate-level students majoring in accounting who plan to become licensed CPA professionals. Five scholarships of $2,500 are awarded annually.
Deadline:  Application window will open December 1, 2011.

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students
This scholarship program provides awards of up to $3,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession.  Since 1969, this program has awarded over $14.6 million in scholarships.
Deadline:  Application window
will open December 1, 2011.

NcCPAp/AICPA Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors 
The National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NcCPAp) and AICPA  offer $1,000 merit-based scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors planning to pursue careers as  CPAs.
Deadline:  December 15, 2011.

TACTYC/AICPA Scholarship
Four $1,000 scholarships are awarded: (2) to two-year college graduates pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting at a four-year institution; and (2) to students pursuing a two-year degree in accounting.

Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop 
The Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop is an annual invitational program for minority accounting students who plan to pursue the CPA designation. The workshop aims to strengthen students’ professional skills and understanding of the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential.
Deadline:  Application window will open December 1, 2011.

Post-Baccalaureate Scholarships 

AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship
The AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship provides financial awards to undergraduate and graduate-level students majoring in accounting who plan to become licensed CPA professionals

AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship
The John L. Carey Scholarship provides financial assistance to liberal arts and other non-business degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting and the CPA designation. Up to ten $5,000 scholarships are awarded annually.

AICPA Foundation Bridge Program Scholarship
The AICPA Foundation provides funding to the AACSB to provide scholarships to outstanding Bridge Program applicants who have experience in the field of accounting (audit and/or tax); are licensed CPAs; and wish to teach at the college level.

AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students 
The Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students seeks to increase the representation of ethnically diverse CPAs teaching in college and university accounting classrooms. Fellowships of $12,000 are awarded annually to full-time minority accounting scholars who show significant potential to become accounting educators.
