They’re here! The 2011 Practice Guides and Checklists have been updated, reviewed and tested and are ready for you to download. A big thank you to our volunteer task force members for their many hours of hard work and the reviewers who put in many hours as well in putting this together!

The Word versions can be downloaded and modified to your firms’ specific desires and specifications. The PDF versions cannot be modified, but are fillable and savable as an electronic file – great for firms that are paperless as it can be saved directly to clients’ electronic files.
New this year! In addition to the Word and PDF versions, the AICPA is launching a new interactive version (
) of the individual and C corporation checklists that makes document management and handling by multiple preparers much easier.

Tax practice guides and checklists are designed as educational and reference material for the members of the Tax Section and others interested in the subject. They do not establish standards or preferred practices.
Although much thought and effort have gone into the development of these guides, they are subject to change. These practice guides are issued as drafts only, and you retain responsibility for their final content. Please review them carefully and make any changes necessary for your specific use.
