Mandatory Examination for CITP Credential to be Implemented July 2012
The AICPA will introduce a mandatory CITP Exam by July 2012. Qualified candidates are encouraged to become credential holders before the exam requirement goes into effect. May 25th is the deadline to apply for the CITP credential without having to take the exam.

CITP Sponsorship Program
The CITP Exam Sponsorship program is available for the mandatory summer 2012 CITP exam. These awards are intended to assist CPAs who have an interest in information management and information technology to complete the examination requirement and ultimately obtain the CITP credential.
