The GAQC will offer two CPE rebroadcast opportunities for the required GAQC Webcast titled, 2012 Annual Update. Read GAQC Alert #194 for registration information for the CPE rebroadcasts and information on how members can access the archived “No CPE” archived version of the Webcast. The dates of the rebroadcasts are on Friday, June 8, 2012, and Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Eastern Time).
AICPA’s Comment Letter on OMB Advance Notice of Proposed Reforms to A-133
Read the AICPA’s comment letter, dated April 30, 2012, on OMB Advance Notice of Proposed Guidance, Reform of Federal Policies Relating to Grants and Cooperative Agreements; Cost Principles, and Administrative Requirements (Including Single Audit Act). OMB issued the Advance Notice to more fully describe the reform ideas it is contemplating so that the public can provide feedback.
Status of 2012 Compliance Supplement
Many GAQC members are inquiring about the status of the 2012 OMB Compliance Supplement. In response, we checked in with OMB staff and were told that the Supplement is currently in the clearance process at OMB and will be released no later than May 31, 2012. As soon as it is released, we will send a GAQC Alert to inform our members. Additionally, the GAQC will hold a Web event on the 2012 Supplement sometime during June 2012. We will announce a date soon.
